We’re Taking One Week Off

Happy Thanksgiving ahead of time! See you on the 26th.

I Was Told That You Are Fantastic

We launched the New Shelton wet/dry about a year ago, October 8, 2006 [here’s the first post].

As explained in the about page, this blog is an experiment in creating something new from existing material:

We try to do what Jeff Koons did when he put 2 or 3 New Shelton Wet/Dry vacuums in a plexiglass box, and added a title. We put news in plexiglass boxes, and add titles.

It also provides a great opportunity to display ‘great shit’, as George Parker recently wrote:

Shelton Wet/Dry is one of my all time favorite sites. They have really great shit on there. Sometimes, I have no fucking idea what it’s about. Perhaps that why I love it.

Today our monthly traffic is about 300,000 page views (200,000+ visits per month).

Technorati ranks the New Shelton wet/dry 1,850 of the blogs in the world (with more than 2,000 links from other blogs).

Thank you (so much) to each of you for making this possible.

Special thanks to Jean-Charles and La Shampoo for their support.

ps. we’re taking 4 days off to rest from the hard work! See you next tuesday.
