In their defense, the original windows may have been totally fake. That is, It’s possible they are just wood or particleboard sconces screwed onto the wall, so it’s not wholly relevant (possibly even harder, due to internal support structure) to center up on them. Seeing as the brickwork is sagging pretty significantly, a whole new internal structure may have been added, and the windows placed based on that. But I could be dead wrong.
Also, I don’t get the title of the site, perhaps due to my brain problems… is it some inside joke?
and these old russian buildings actually have half floors. its amazing. haha. me and friend were trying to find room 78 and it turned out, it was on the 7 and 1/2 floor. the 1/2 floor can only be reached through a half flight of stairs!
