I was shocked yesterday when I received a personal missive from Donald Trump. Here’s my chat with Don’s “mystery” house-guest (my questions and my interpretation of her answers):

Q: Is Don there?
A: What?

Q: Donald Trump, is he there?
A: No.

Q: Have you seen him around?
A: I have seen Donald and Donald Trump Jr. walking in the lobby before.

Q: Earlier today?
A: No.

Q: Is Donald Trump, Jr. considered to be one of the “4″ self-made multi-millionaire experts?
A: Yes (after some prodding) No.

Q: Why is the number “4,” in reference to the number “self-made multi-millionaire experts” in quotes?
A: There are actually five speakers including Donald Trump, Jr., so I guess the number 4 is a sort of meta-number in reference to the conference. There will be more than 4 speakers, but maybe, like Trump Jr., it’s debatable whether any are considered remotely self-made.

Q: Is TRUMP-Think Like A Billionaire a book so important that it transcends both the guidelines from the MLA and Chicago citation styles to warrant an italicization and quotation marks? Is it your way of saying, essentially, that it is not merely a book, which warrants italicization, but also a chapter of your life, which warrants quotation marks?
A: (She gave me the run around with this question but the basic answer is) YES.

Q: Will Donald Trump Jr. be on season 6 of The Apprentice?
A: (She thinks so.)

Q: How will I make money the Trump way on March 21?
A: (What I could discern from her answer here is that you won’t necessarily make money the Trump way on March 21, but will learn enough to make money for the rest of your life. Teach a man to fish…)
